PROYECTO ADELANTE has served 5,085 individuals in several areas such as Interpretations, translations, immunizations, pre-natal care, family planning, HIV education and testing, Cultural competence traning, child-bearing clasess, among others.

INTERPRETATIONS AND TRANSLATIONS
 
ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE SERVICES
Proyecto Adelante offers interpretacions and translations services in for healthcare seekers and providers in Newberry, Fairfield and kershaw counties.   Outreach activities in to promote healthcare services in the counties of Newberry, Fairfield, Kershaw and Richland.
     
CULTURAL COMPETENCE TRAINING
 
DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION
Proyecto Adelante provides the workshop "Culturally Competent Healthcare for Hispanic/Latinos" for providers and ancillary personel in both rural and urban south carolina. The training is offer for free in Newberry, Fairfield and Kershaw counties.   The project distributes information materials related to healthcare service needs of LEP (Limited-English Proficiency) Hispanics.
     
PROMOTE HIV/AIDS EDUCATION AND EARLY DETECTION
 
CHILDREN'S HEALTHCARE

Adelante, through its ContraSIDA program, delivers Culturally and linguistically appropiate HIV/AIDS prevention and education. The program distributes information, and offers educative trainings, counseling and Testing (Orasure Test).

   

Angelito Project promotes preventive healthcare for children among the Hispanic community. Because Hispanic children are the most important and precious element the Hispanic Family, and the Hispanic Family is our most significant treasure, our comprehensive healthcare promotion includes the healthcare of the entire family!.

HEALTH FAIRS

ADELANTE promotes and participates in Health Fairs and other activities promoting health services across the state.
