Dear Potential Sponsor: We are pleased to invite you to become a sponsor of InspirARTE (Inspire ART), a silent art auction event organized by Acercamiento Hispano (Hispanic Outreach), the region's oldest and largest non-profit organization serving the Hispanic community. InspirARTE will be held at the South Carolina State Museum, in Columbia, on October 21, 2004 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. InspirARTE seeks to inform the public about the beauty and diversity of Latin American art, while supporting an organization that provides critical services to the Hispanic community. The soaring numbers of Latinos flocking to the region in the last few years have strained the resources of Acercamiento Hispano. These resources are vital to provide the social support system the community needs, including health, legal assistance, domestic violence support, employment and training services. This is the second year Acercamiento Hispano is hosting InspirARTE. Based on our previous success, we expect to have over one hundred art pieces for sale this year and an equally impressive attendance. Artists will craft artwork inspired by the creations and styles of four great Latin American artists: Remedios Varo (Mexico), Oswaldo Guayasamín (Ecuador), Roberto Matta (Chile) y Tomás Sánchez (Cuba). This year Heidi Darr-Hope will create the central piece to be used in InspirARTE's posters and invitations. Heidi and other artists are very enthusiastic about participating in this project since it gives them a chance to learn and explore other art styles in addition to presenting their work to a new audience. Your sponsorship of InspirARTE will demonstrate your organization's support for the Hispanic community -a rapidly growing economic force in the Midlands region - as well as your support for local art. It will also provide a vehicle to enhance your corporation's visibility. We hope you will be generous in selecting a sponsorship category. There are five levels of sponsorships that include: Platinum ($5,000 or more) -10 event tickets, inclusion of corporate logo on promotional materials and banner display at event, full page color advertisement and recognition for level of sponsorship in commemorative program book, introduction of representative at event with opportunity to make remarks, and special recognition as a sponsor of the school art contest and award ceremony.
